Your Marketing Needs to Demonstrate the Transformation

This week we at Online SuperCoach were excited to have the opportunity to speak with Jesse Eker, owner of Build Your Brand Online, which helps coaches and other experts build successful online brands. He was kind enough to share some advice for fitness industry professionals who are trying to market their services online. 


The key in marketing, Jesse says, is showcasing the transformation that occurs in your greatest client success stories. And while a simple set of before and after photos can demonstrate what you help people to do, it’s important to remember who your target audience is. Picture your ideal client in your mind. When they come to you, what do they look like, what are they looking for? As impressive as “after” photos always are, don’t forget that whoever you’ve identified as your ideal client needs to see themselves in the “before” in your marketing. That way, they know going in that you can deliver the results they’re looking for, and at the same time you can make sure you’re attracting potential clients who are the right fit. For example, if your clientele are people who are preparing for bodybuilding competitions, you’re looking for people who are already at a high level of fitness and are looking for a competitive edge. You want your marketing to have a “before” that looks like someone who has already been putting in work but needs help hitting the next level.
